TERMS AND CONDITIONS

General

  1. Full payment is required at time of booking to secure booking.

  2. Living Culture reserves the right to change prices and services without notice.

  3. All bookings are subject to availability.

  4. All public events such as public guided walks and special screenings must be paid in full via our booking system at the time of booking.

  5. Full refund will be given with at least 14 days notice of cancellation unless stated otherwise (excluding screenings).

  6. Cancellations made less than 14 days before your booking will be charged 100% of the total payment. Special circumstances may be considered.

  7. There can be no amendments or changes to the booking less than 48 hours prior to event.

  8. All tours are subject to weather conditions – unsafe wind or heavy rain conditions may result in the cancellation of the tour. You will be notified as soon as that decision is made. Please note that light rain or overcast conditions are not unsafe.

  9. All school and kindergarten group excursions must be accompanied by at least 1 teacher per group with a capacity of 40 students per walk.

  10. Payment of your booking is deemed to be acknowledgement of these terms and conditions.

  11. Cancellations for Reconciliation and NAIDOC weeks will be charged 100% of payment. Special circumstances may be considered.

Public Guided Walks

  1. Bookings are essential

  2. Capacity of 30 adults per walk.

  3. All public guided walks must be paid in full via our booking system at the time of booking.

  4. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  5. Our public guided walks are for the general public only.

  6. We do not accept group bookings on our public guided walks, if you wish to book a guided walk on-behalf of a group or organisation, please feel free to contact us.

  7. All guided walks are subject to weather conditions – unsafe wind or heavy rain conditions may result in the cancellation of the tour. Please note that light rain or overcast conditions are not unsafe. If the walk is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions, we will post an update on our Facebook event page and send an update to our emailing list as soon as the decision is made.

  8. While every reasonable precaution will be taken to prevent accident, injury or damage. Living Culture will not be responsible for any accident, injury or damage which may happen to any person irrespective of the extent of the injury, damage or loss sustained and this condition of contract may be pleaded by Living Culture as a bar to any action claim proceeding for breach of contract, negligence or any other liability sustained such as injury, damage or loss.

  9. Payment of your booking is deemed to be acknowledgement of these terms and conditions.

    Note: A Photographer may be present for our Programs and photos may be used on Living Culture’s social media and websites for marketing purposes. IF you do not want your image to be used, please notify us prior to the event

Gift Certificates

  1. Certificates must be redeemed by the expiry date.

  2. Certificates may not be redeemed for cash.

  3. Certificates are not refundable.

  4. Certificates may be redeemed any day of the week, unless otherwise stipulated.

  5. Certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

  6. Payment of your booking is deemed to be acknowledgement of these terms and conditions.
